Come join us for a special screening of the documentary Love Joy and Power: Tools for Liberation by filmmaker Daresha Kyi.

The film showcases the empowering work done by the co-founders of the Black Voters Matter Fund: Cliff Albright, April Albright, and LaTosha Brown to empower African American communities after the death of Representative John Lewis until January 6, 2021.

Presented by Spelman’s Social Justice Program, this event is free and open to the public with light refreshments to be served compliments of Black Voters Matter Fund. It will be held in the theater on the first floor of Spelman College Mary Schmidt-Campbell Center for Innovations of the Arts.

Spelman’s Social Justice Program is Directed by Dr. Cynthia Spence and Coordinated by Ms. Pam Stegall and funded by the Mellon Foundation.
