About Candidate

Darisha Watson, a multi-faceted artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. My passion for the arts began at a young age, and I have actively pursued a career encompassing acting, singing, modeling, and photography for several years.

While the past few years have presented personal challenges, including the loss of cherished family members, I have remained dedicated to my artistic pursuits. My professional experience is diverse and includes a range of roles in film, television, and other media. My on-screen credits include appearances in projects such as Vivian’s Greens’ “I don’t know,” BET’s “The Quad,” and “Step Up: High Water,” as well as a featured role in Netflix’s “Come Sunday.” I also had a significant speaking role as a police officer in the film “Candy,” and further expanded my work in film with roles in “East to the Sea” and a voice-over role in the podcast “District Queen 2.”

My modeling career has included collaborations with prominent designers such as Sylvia Robinson and emerging talent Hannah Z., culminating in my participation in The 7 Wonders of the World Fashion Show. I portrayed Amy in “The Blind House” and I am actively pursuing opportunities with shows like NBC’s “The Voice” and American Idol.

My professional development also includes participation in the Industry Network program in 2017, where I had the opportunity to work with Jillian Batherson. I’m also very pleased to share that I will be appearing in a supporting role as Ms. Monet in “Let’s Trade Places 3,” soon to be released on Tubi.
